Microsoft Corporation plans to tell us the first details about its new console this week. We remind you that the announcement of the device took place at the last year's E3 show, but then nothing was told to us, except for general information about the "six teraflops" of processing power. Now the manufacturer is ready to open, at last, a veil of secrecy and share a lot of new information.

The Japanese company Sony played in advance, releasing an intermediate model of the PlayStation 4 console with the subtitle Pro. Yes, the prefix went on sale last fall, but Microsoft decided not to rush anywhere and prepare for a really heavy artillery. The American company now simply has no other choice: all or nothing. Unfortunately, in the current generation of gaming consoles, Microsoft was defeated. Sony managed to do something unthinkable: after not so successfully launched PlayStation 3, the fourth stationary console sold for sale about 60 million consoles in just four years. This is a real success, given that Microsoft has managed to implement about 27 million Xbox One consoles. The lag is almost two times - this is not a joke.

Project Scorpio, if you believe the rumors, will refuse ESRAM memory for new games, replacing it with a more promising and understandable GDDR5 developers in the amount of 12 GB. However, developers will still have to create several versions of their games for Microsoft consoles, since without ESRAM their projects will not work on Xbox One. Recall that the current generation of consoles is equipped with 8 gigabytes of RAM (DDR3 for Xbox One, and GDDR5 for PS4). The new console will be the most powerful in history, thanks to a powerful GPU and CPU (presumably Ryzen from AMD). It will be able to play games in honest 4K-resolution and allow developers to embody on the screen unprecedented visual beauty. PlayStation 4 Pro also plays games in 4K resolution, but it does it in a very tricky way, with the help of "chess rendering", which significantly saves computational power.

Also in the network leaked rumors that to demonstrate the power of the new console were selected several games coming on sale this year. First, the presentation will almost certainly be visited by Rockstar Games with its Red Dead Redemption 2. Secondly, Microsoft will present us the seventh number game of the Forza Motorsport series. Thirdly, there may be exclusives from domestic and third-party studios, for example, Sea of ​​Thieves, State of Decay 2 and Crackdown 3. The highlight of the presentation can be a demonstration of the gameplay of the game Star Wars Battlefront 2 from EA. But, as I said above, these are just rumors. When it comes to a real event, we'll see everything ourselves. It may be that at the first show we will not be shown any games at all, postponing all this until the June E3 2017 exhibition.
