Xbox One will never be sold without Kinect

Over the past few days, we have learned several new interesting details about the new Xbox One from Microsoft: we looked at a detailed review of its new gaming joystick, got acquainted with the package and even the list of games that we would expect on the store shelves. Among other things, at the games exhibition Gamescon 2013, held in the German city of Cologne, Microsoft told another news, which, unfortunately, can (or maybe not) alienate some people from the desire to purchase a new console. The fact is that Xbox One will not be sold without the Kinect motion sensor. Never.

Corporate Vice President Phil Harrison confirmed in an interview that the Xbox One will never be sold without the Kinect bundled, pointing out that “these are not separate systems,” and adding that the Xbox One is “ there is Kinect.

We have already written that the presence of Kinect permanently connected to the network is not a requirement for the Xbox One itself. Yes, and many people are unlikely to pay attention to it at all. But that's not the point. For the time being, the question remains open about how much support Kinect itself will receive. On the Xbox 360, the list of supported games was more than pathetic. Let's hope that Kinect 2.0 will not hang a dead weight and will be not just another way to make the buyer pay more.

And the news after: Microsoft began to show Xbox One in its stores Microsoft Store.
