The release of the Xbox One console in Russia postponed

Microsoft-Xbox-One

Microsoft has announced that it is postponing the release of its new Xbox One home gaming console in eight European countries. The following regions fell into the list of "losers": Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Holland, Norway, Russia, Sweden and Switzerland.

The next-generation console release from Microsoft will continue to be released in November for the following countries: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Spain, the UK, USA and New Zealand.

The official Xbox Wire website writes:

"We understand that this is very bad news for our fans from these countries, but we are doing everything possible to solve this problem and start selling Xbox One early next year, as soon as possible."

All future owners of Xbox One from countries that are on the list of release delays and have already issued a pre-order will receive a free game as soon as the console becomes available.

The delay problem is due to the fact that Microsoft has encountered some problems associated with localizing the console for countries. However, personally, it seems to me that Microsoft simply cannot cope with the load associated with the large volume of pre-orders and the actual production of consoles, and therefore decided to make happy only those countries whose markets are its priorities.
