Sukhei Yoshida, head of Sony Worldwide Studios, tweeted:

“When you buy a PlayStation 4 game using your smartphone, this process will“ wake up ”your console and it will start downloading the game you bought. Immediately after the end of the download, the PS4 automatically goes back to sleep. ”

Of course, this service is designed only to simplify and speed up the acquisition of the desired game on your PlayStation 4, however, as some people notice, not all users will be happy that the console itself will turn on and download content when the user is not next to her.
