Earlier this year, the PlayStation 4 has already won the hearts of many players, when Sony confirmed that, unlike the Xbox One (which, by the way, has already changed the policy), the PlayStation 4 will not have any restrictions, including related to the conditions of use of used games, and will not impose any restrictions on users of the console, as is the case with the PlayStation 3.
Now, just before the release of the console itself, Sony decided to change the policy regarding the distribution of content in some countries, including Russia.
Apparently, the same restrictions still exist in the PlayStation 3 and its games, but Sony essentially never put emphasis on this. It is possible that the company just wants to clearly define the rules and answer all questions of legal use of content in case of problems related to these issues. However, after such statements remained sediment. Not such a “kind and fluffy” PlayStation 4, which seemed at first glance.
