Some readers may not know this, but Microsoft's Xbox One is not the only game console that has voice control support. A similar function, however, more simplified, can offer and the PlayStation 4 game console from Sony.

The PlayStation Access channel, located on YouTube’s video hosting service, decided to hold a video demonstration of this feature. All you need for voice control of your PlayStation 4 is the presence (included) of a headset or a new PlayStation camera. By the way, the latter is completely optional; you can also give voice commands to the console thanks to one headset that comes with the kit (or purchased separately).

To activate the voice control, the owner of the set-top box only needs to say one phrase: “PlayStation”. After that, for example, being in the game selection menu, the console owner can say the name of the desired game, and then say: “Start” (most likely in the Russian version of the console, they will have their teams in Russian). In the same way, you can turn off the console, change the active user, take a screenshot and so on. Of course, the capabilities of voice control of the PlayStation 4 are much simpler than those of the Xbox One, but they are all simple and easy to remember, unlike the console from Microsoft, where there are more than a dozen teams (try still to learn).

Recall that the console of the new generation of PlayStation 4 from Sony will go on sale in Russia on November 29. The official cost of the console, according to the Sony press release, which appeared at the disposal of the Lenta.ru portal in June of this year, was 17 990 rubles. However, now the price of 18 999 rubles is becoming increasingly common.
