The first sales statistics on “Black Friday” began to come in, and it looks like Microsoft has a reason to be proud - its Xbox One sold better than its competitor PlayStation 4. The report was prepared by the company InfoScout, which reports that at least in the US in Wal stores -Mart and Target sales of Xbox One accounted for 31 percent of all game console sales.
More interestingly, Xbox One is in second place on Black Friday, accounting for 30 percent of sales. In the third and fourth places are the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, respectively, which only by common efforts could take 30 percent. The statistics were based on 83 thousand sales receipts.
It should also be clarified that this report cannot directly reflect the state of affairs at the front of console wars. The fact is that the prefix from Sony went on sale earlier than the prefix from Microsoft, and most of those who wanted to buy it, have already done so before Black Friday. As for the performance of the Xbox One, from the previous generation of consoles, it turned out to be the cheapest (at least in the West), that is, it was offered to customers with increased discounts compared to the PlayStation 3.

It is definitely early to draw any final conclusions, but at least Microsoft managed to win this battle. However, the decisive struggle of the two consoles for our wallets will take place only next year.
