To date, sales of the new generation Japanese set-top box have exceeded 5.3 million, which is an incredible result for Sony. Andrew House, president of Sony Computer Entertainment, in his official address thanked the fans of the Playstation brand for their tremendous support. He also noted that all the most interesting about the Playstation 4 is still waiting for us ahead.

Let us remind you that Sony management did not count on such a success of PS4, and the forecasts of the company's specialists assumed that 5 million consoles would be sold only by the end of March 2014. The plan was exceeded by almost a month and a half before the schedule.
