Huawei has announced that it plans to begin selling a game console called TRON. The release is to be held in China in the second quarter of this year. The model presented at the exhibition uses the Nvidia Tegra 4 processor, which, according to Huawei, can later be replaced with the Tegra K1 processor, announced last week at the same event.
Last week, the Chinese government officially lifted the ban on the sale of game consoles, which has operated for 13 years. Huawei claims that the decision to launch TRON has nothing to do with government actions.

The prospects for TRON in the Chinese market will depend on the pricing policy and the proposed games.
