Xbox software development director Larry Hrib, also known among gaming audiences under his Xbox Live nickname Major Nelson (Major Nelson is the character of his favorite TV series), recently posted a screenshot of his new Xbox One menu in his Twitter, with which users can download console firmware updates . And everything would be fine if not one small detail: the screenshot clearly shows that the Kinect sensor is not connected to the console of one of the Xbox unit managers.

A tiny icon in the upper right corner makes it clear that at the moment Kinect is simply disconnected from the console. And many followers of a Twitter account, Larry Hrib, noticed this detail.

“Oh, so you're also trying not to stick a Kinect cable into your Xbox One, Larry? Keep it up! ”One of the users wrote to Major Nelson.

This situation looks especially ironic, considering how much Microsoft has been promoting its updated motion sensor. How many times have they claimed that the Xbox One will be completely inferior without Kinect 2.0, and that Kinect will in no way follow users, despite the fact that it is always on (even when the console is turned off), sees and hears everything that happens Around him.
