Sony continues to lower the price of its PlayStation 3 console

Following the price reduction and the upgrade of the PS3 model line, Sony will also stop releasing two old models of black and white consoles with 250 GB hard drives on board. The new 500-gigabyte console of coal-black color will go on sale in Japan on August 28th.
