What the Japanese have dreamed of for many years has finally happened! The future owners of Project Morpheus headset will be able to find themselves in virtual reality alone with an animated Japanese girl.
However, this, of course, is not about a sexual game of the hentai genre so popular in Japan. The Summer Lesson project is a “dating simulator”, when a player should get acquainted with a virtual girl, get to know her as best as possible and after a long conversation, win her position and, perhaps, even her heart.
Statistics show that most Japanese men are very shy and very often prefer video games to communicate with real girls, so from some point of view the appearance of this genre was quite justified.
This curious game project is being developed by the creators of the legendary Tekken fighting game series from the Namco Bandai Games studio, led by game designer Katsuhiro Harada. To date, the project is only a nice demo, but the developers promise to develop it to a full game in the very near future.
You can see footage from the demo in the video below. We remind you that Sony has not yet announced the date when the Morpheus headset will go on sale, but, apparently, many studios have already got their hands on a working prototype of the device and have begun to develop various projects for it. Considering that “dating simulators” in Japan are wildly popular, the Sony virtual headset in the Land of the Rising Sun will certainly have a great future.
