Two models of the new pocket device New Nintendo 3DS will go on sale in Russia on February 13. This was announced yesterday in the official video message to Russian players by the president of the European division of Nintendo, Satoru Shibata.

Conventional console differs from the increased one in that it has the ability to change decorative panels with different images, which will allow you to change the appearance of your console as you want. The sale will receive 12 different panels at a price from 999 to 1999 rubles.
The New Nintendo 3DS XL body is monolithic and nothing will be replaced. In other words, those who are interested in a unique design - the New Nitendo 3DS is suitable with removable panels, and who likes more screens - should take a closer look at the New Nintendo 3DS XL.
The next important change is the availability of new controls. In the New Nintendo 3DS, the second analog stick has finally appeared for more convenient control in modern video games, as well as two additional trigger buttons ZL and ZR.
The cartridge slot on the upper side of the console moved to the bottom, there also moved and the stylus storage connector, as well as the power on / off button. Light indicators also moved to the bottom of the console body. The letters on the main buttons of the console became colored, sending us back to the times of the 16-bit console of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System from the 90's. Instead of SD memory cards for storing data, the updated set-top box will use MicroSD format cards.

Iron console has also been finalized. Now in the New Nintendo 3DS more powerful processor and more RAM. Thanks to this, for the console will be released more advanced in technical terms, video games, which, alas, will not be able to run on regular Nintendo 3DS. The prefix will work much faster in all modes: from downloading web pages to downloading games from the E-shop. By the way, the console browser will now support video playback directly from the Internet. Previously, the power of the console on it was not enough.
Also, the updated console has acquired an NFC sensor, through which it learned to read and write data from Amiibo figurines, which went on sale late last year. You can use Amiibo to unlock various additional features in Nintendo games, as well as to store various game information on the chips embedded in the figures.
Prefixes will go on sale in several colors. New Nintendo 3DS - in black and white versions, and New Nintendo 3DS XL - in blue and black. As I already mentioned above, for the new Nintendo 3DS, removable decorative panels will be on sale. In order not to offend users of the New Nintendo 3DS XL, two limited editions of the console with a unique design of the case will be issued specially for them: in the style of the games Monster Hunter 4 and The Legend of Zelda: Majora Mask.
