As you know, today Sony held a ceremony in Tokyo to award video game developers for the PlayStation consoles. Especially for you, I watched the online broadcast of this event and I hasten to share with you an operative report on the outcome of the ceremony.

On the stage came Ken Kutaragi himself, who is called the father of PlayStation. It was in the early 90s that he persuaded the Sony management to enter the gaming consoles market. After the unsuccessful launch of PlayStation 3 in 2006, Ken Kutaragi left the company, as required by the Japanese business code. At the moment, Ken conducts lectures at a Japanese university and is a consultant to the engineering department of Sony in the design of new gaming systems.
Today, Ken Kutaragi presented figurines with PS symbols to the developers of the five best games for the PlayStation consoles for all 20 years of the existence of Sony consoles in the opinion of Japanese players. These games, judging by the poll conducted among Japanese gamers, were:
1. Final Fantasy VII
2. Final Fantasy X
3. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
4. Monster Hunter Portable 2G
5. Grand Theft Auto V
Sony Computer Entertainment President Andrew House introduced the new coloring of the PlayStation 4 console to the public. In honor of the 20th anniversary of the Sony's game division, the prefix will be available in a unique gray color of the case, in the style of the very first console of the PlayStation family. Such a limited set will be issued in only 12,300 copies.
The famous game designer and musician Masaya Matsura appeared on the stage and released several unique music games for the PlayStation consoles, including PaRappa the Rapper and UmJammer Lammy, who are familiar with those who had the very first Sony PlayStation consoles. Matsura performed some of his new musical compositions for the audience in the hall, which made sincerely smile on both journalists and serious Japanese businessmen.
