It seems that hackers do not have days off, even on Christmas holidays. A few hours after hacking Xbox Live, the online PlayStation Network service was down. Both services are used by users of the two most popular consoles in the world for network games. The situation is dumbfounded by the fact that the PlayStation and Xbox are the most popular gift for Catholic Christmas, which is celebrated this week.
Responsibility for both incidents was assumed by a group of hackers, called "Lizard Squad". She reported this on her page in Twitter.
Sony confirmed the problem with the PlayStation Network, but did not specify whether this is the result of a DDoS attack. Later service @AskPlayStation reported the resumption of the service, but in "Twitter" continued to pour complaints from the owners of consoles.
