It seems that hackers do not have days off, even on Christmas holidays. A few hours after hacking Xbox Live, the online PlayStation Network service was down. Both services are used by users of the two most popular consoles in the world for network games. The situation is dumbfounded by the fact that the PlayStation and Xbox are the most popular gift for Catholic Christmas, which is celebrated this week.

Responsibility for both incidents was assumed by a group of hackers, called "Lizard Squad". She reported this on her page in Twitter.

Sony confirmed the problem with the PlayStation Network, but did not specify whether this is the result of a DDoS attack. Later service @AskPlayStation reported the resumption of the service, but in "Twitter" continued to pour complaints from the owners of consoles. At the time of this writing, the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live were still "in shock".

About the upcoming Christmas attack PlayStation Network and Xbox Live participants of the hacker group "Lizard Squad" warned in advance, last week.

In the meantime, the page "Lizard Squad" is gaining popularity in "Twitter" due to the influx of followers, which hackers distribute promising promises about the imminent resumption of gaming services.

If you do not subscribe to @TheKingCrucifix, you will be left without XBOX and PSN in the remaining days of Christmas, - the message says.
