Residents of Japan are very fond of video games. As a rule, people play during trips on the metro, at lunch breaks, as well as on smartphones, right on the go. Constant increase in the time spent by people in video games, and was the reason for the "Day of refusal of video games."

This event has not yet become a nationwide one and will be held only in Hokkaido Prefecture in the north of Japan. On the other hand, we also understand that children and teenagers need to regularly break away from their favorite computers, consoles and smartphones to expand their horizons, as well as communicate with friends outside the digital world. So the decision of the Japanese to hold such days is justified.

The first "Day without video games" will be the first Sunday in February. Let's see if this will help the Japanese schoolchildren take up their studies and catch up.
