Mike is a fan of video games and game consoles since the 70s of last century. It was his love for the retro classics that gave birth to the idea of creating a modern console that uses good old cartridges as a storage medium.
Let me remind you that the last home game console on the cartridges was Nintendo 64, which was released from 1996 to 2002. True, in those years, the prefix was literally trampled madly popular console Sony PlayStation, which appeared largely due to the shortsightedness of the then leadership of Nintendo. All competitors of the Japanese company switched to a promising CD carrier, and only Nintendo tried to stick to its unique course, continuing to distribute games on cartridges with a very limited amount of memory, which ultimately paid.
